“Wedding Smashers Crew,
We would just like to say a big thank you for making our wedding on the 2nd July at Syon Park so special!
We had an awesome time, and all of our guests have complimented us on the music at the wedding.
You guys were professional and reliable from the word go. We really liked your sample music on the website, and you were easy to reach on the phone. You were flexible about venue and punctual for our initial meeting, and you explained everything clearly. You got the contracts to us on time, and you were very attentive to our playlist requests.
On the day you guys arrived on time and were very helpful as we were trying to finish off dinner and welcome evening guests. You helped us to make announcements on the mic, arrange our first dance and cut the cake.
Once the party got going we didn’t have to ask for anything more. All of the music went down a storm, and the Garage and Jungle sets were a really unique and memorable feature of our wedding. You had the crowd calling for rewinds in a 19th Century conservatory belonging to the Duke of Northumberland, and I hope you find that as hilarious as we do
All in all it was fantastic, so thank you very much. We would highly recommend you to anyone who wants a top-class wedding party to really wow their guests. The Wedding Smashers do exactly what they say on the tin!”

“We couldn’t recommend the Wedding Smashers enough. But we’ll give it a bash. we’’ll go into the whole experience in a bit, but seeing as the main thing you want to know is whether they cut the mustard on the night I’ll jump right to the point. They were brilliant. Our dance floor was filled for the entire night as Henry – chosen because he fitted our taste in music the best – showed great technique, feel for the mood and patience when dealing with ‘enthusiastic’ guests (and, er… me, the groom) in taking us from New Order to Elvis to Minnie Riperton to Warren G to LCD Soundsystem. The set was absolutely awesome.
So how about the build up? We wanted a variety of music for our wedding that a band couldn’t give us but were afraid that a dj might be too cheesy. One visit to the website and we got a strong feeling the Wedding Smashers were exactly what we were after and they’re as cool and clued up as they’d have you believe. From the moment I got in touch Max was really helpful, wanting to meet up to get to know us more, get an idea for the kind of stuff we liked, and didn’t like. He talked us through the options for booths and lighting any there was never any pressure to go for pricier choices, he understood that it was about getting the right fit for the occasion. A couple of days before the big day Max and I met up at the venue to discuss lighting and he showed real flexibility and a ‘can-do’ attitude in finding a great solution to a tricky problem – we got married in an Elizabethan hall and didn’t want the lighting, which had to be set up first thing in the day, ruining the look while people were dining. It really is true what they say: your wedding day is the best day of your life. We’ll always cherish it and I’m not kidding when I say the Wedding Smashers played a big part.”

“The Wedding Smashers are a stylish, professional and funky team who provided a memorable atmosphere at our evening reception. They were great to work with when preparing a playlist, listened to our tastes and, combined with their expertise, provided an eclectic mix of old school classics, wedding favourites and modern floor-fillers. They kept the dancefloor packed the whole evening and our guests (of all ages) loved them! Their track selection on the night was fantastic and they were brilliant at adapting the songs to the response of the guests. Thanks to them we had an amazing fun end to a great day. These guys aren’t wedding DJs – they’re proper DJs who play weddings, and it shows – book them!”

“We couldn’t have been more pleased with Wedding Smashers! We got married in August on the hottest day of the year, the venue was still boiling by nightfall but The Wedding Smashers were able to get everyone on the dance floor to sweat it out even more! These guys were awesome and paid serious attention to detail. Ahead of our wedding day, they met with us in our native New York City (Yes they were there anyway but it was very cool), programmed a set based on our varying tastes in music and made sure we got the right equipment set-up based on our tastes and our venue’s decor (We love Prince, so our first dance was Purple Rain and they came fully equipped with purple lighting.) We were really touched that they went the extra mile for us.
After the wedding, we had guests ask us who our DJs were and complimented us on how good the music was. There were guests dancing who we never would have expected to see on the dance floor! The Smashers played an amazing variety of music and one song flowed seamlessly into the next. I don’t think there was ever a quiet moment in the entire set! We would 100% recommend them to anyone looking to have an awesome wedding reception.”

“The set list was almost as important to us as our guest list on our wedding day at River Dart Country Park, we love our music and have a long history of enjoying festivals and the best of London’s club scene with our friends. Having DJs play at our wedding that would wow us all was high on our list of priorities. The Wedding Smashers exceeded all of our expectations, we were all completely blown away by their set and the dance floor was packed from start to finish. Max and Lucy looked so cool and were very professional.
We booked the Wedding Smashers pretty much as soon as we chose our venue, more than a year in advance. The communication with the team was excellent over the year leading up to our wedding and he provided advice on our set list and any extras we could have to optimise the sound etc. I would definitely recommend the Wedding Smashers to anyone looking for something more exceptional than the average wedding DJ, in fact we are looking for an excuse to book them again!”
